The Intimidating Backpack

My companion and I were in a sister’s area to conduct a baptismal interview. The woman we were there to visit didn’t answer her door away. As we waited, my companion leaned down and was petting her dog through the gate. The dog seemed nice enough so I decided to join him. I put down my backpack and reached out to pet him. Well, I didn’t realize that my large and overstuffed backpack had startled him so, as I reached out, he tried to bite me and started barking. After that, I avoided petting anymore dogs.
